Te Reo

Kia ora koutou,

The text on this page was translated into Maori by the late Vapi Kupenga.  Since this text was written, the NZ government decided against instituting the coercive recommendations in the Report of the Health Select Committee which are described below.

The text on this page has been left here as a tribute to Vapi who was a wonderful woman and a great friend.  Vapi was equally eloquent in both Te Reo and English, and a staunch advocate of parents’ rights to make informed decisions for their tamariki.

As Vapi used to say:

Kia piki te ora!

Nga manaakitanga,

–  Katherine Smith

Update:  No Forced Vaccines now has a new section on its website for information in Te Reo. Please see this link for details: http://www.noforcedvaccines.org/category/te-reo/

Tena koutou katoa,

http://www.parliament.nz/NR/rdonlyres/BADCF722-D377-4451-8602-1E00938BFC74/188894/DBSCH_SCR_5060_Inquiryintohowtoimprovecompletionra.pdf

He raru taku i nga tutohu e toru o tenei ripota.

akomanga.)

Ko tenei te tutohu:

“We recommend to the Government that it strengthen the requirements on parents to present immunisation information when their children enrol at early childhood centres or schools. The required immunisation information should consist of either a certificate demonstrating that  the child has received all the appropriate vaccinations, or a written statement that the parents have declined to immunise their child. We consider this should be implemented within one year.”  [Page 20]

No reira he mea nui ka ahei nga matua ki te whiwhi ko ehea nga wero nira pai, ko ehea he kino.
